Kerala School of Mathematics has many core research groups and provides excellent opportunities for pursuing research in these areas. The PhD programme at Kerala School of Mathematics is a perfect platform to explore these areas in depth. Students will be selected through the examinations listed below, followed by an interview at Kerala School of Mathematics.
Eligibility
● Minimum second-class or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination/degree (which is relaxed to a “pass class” for SC/ST candidates).
● Master’s degree in the Mathematical or Physical Sciences, or B.E./B.Tech. (or equivalent degree) in an appropriate field of Engineering or Technology.
● The candidate should also have passed one of the following entrance tests: CSIR-UGC NET for JRF or UGC-NET for JRF or NBHM Screening Test; or must hold an INSPIRE Ph.D. fellowship.
How to Apply: Interested candidates who have completed the eligibility criteria and who have qualified in one of the exams mentioned should write to director@ksom.res.in. Eligible candidates will be shortlisted based on their scores in one of these interviews. A further screening of these candidates will be done at Kerala School of Mathematics.
